Our Experience

Founded in 2005, Pivotal (formerly known as RMS Group Services) was formed out of a growing opportunity within the cash services market for a quality client focused service provider.

The company’s refreshing approach was highly received within the retail and hospitality sectors and with growing confidence expanded into supporting financial services.

Operating initially from one branch in Belfast the company has now grown to have eight centres servicing the UK and Ireland.

Our expansion strategy has been client led both within our footprint and our innovation of transactional services.

Our History

2005

Pivotal commenced operations in Northern Ireland and became the largest CIT supplier across the country within 7 years.
2009

Pivotal moved into a new purpose built logistics cash centre in Belfast.
2014

Supported by the success across Northern Ireland, Pivotal entered the Republic of Ireland with the acquisition off Chubb CIT Security.
2015

Pivotal entered the mainland UK market with the first UK based cash centre branch in Slough.
2016

Focused on leading cash management and CIT logistical technologies. Pivotal invested in the world class CWC software systems from Transtrack International.
2017

Capitalising on the exit of Brink’s Ireland, Pivotal acquired the Brink’s flagship cash centre.
2018

Significant investment in our fleet enabling us to deliver new services to meet the growing needs of our customers.
2019

Pivotal acquired Jade CIT Security & opens new cash centre in Leeds expanding into the northern region of the UK.
2020

Completion of reorganisation as a platform for growth including group wide re-branding from RMS Group Services to Pivotal, governance enhancements and formal adoption of Strategic Growth Plan
2021

Expansion in the UK with new branches together with launch of Pivotal Pay, our Merchant Solutions innovative fintech customer focused service.

Accreditation and Membership

Pivotal are members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and the Irish Security Industry Association (ISIA)

RMS Merchant Solutions T/A Pivotal Pay is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority

Our drivers are SIA Licenced under the Private Security Industry Act in the United Kingdom and the Private Security Authority in the Republic of Ireland. Relevant Directors and Managers are also SIA Licenced.

RMS Cash Solutions Ltd currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Cash and Valuables in Transit

Jade Security Services T/A Pivotal currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Cash and Valuables in Transit
